New Year Clock

I know. I know! I'm waaay late with my New Year greeting. As you've probably heard this before, "Charge it to my head, not to my heart."  So. Happy New Year!

I am excited about 2025, and I want to encourage you with this post.

Seek God First!

Jesus said in Matthew 6:33 (NKJV), But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

I will seek the kingdom of God first!

  • Most of us have made resolutions for 2025. I saw something I found humorous last week. I can't remember where I either heard or read it. "35% of the people usually break their resolutions before the third week in January."

  • But there is one resolution all of us should make: "I will seek the kingdom of God first!

A Good Place To Start

  • A good place to start the year right is in the will of God! The more we seek Him, the more we know Him. And the more we know Him, the closer we will be to Him, and He will reveal His personality to us.

  • I lived outside and far away from God's will until I was about 49 years old. I have nothing to gain by deceiving anybody. So I'm telling you the best place I have ever been is in the will of God!

Don't Forget His Righteousness!

  • God is righteous. Don't confuse His love. God hates sin, but He loves the sinner. According to 2 Peter 3:8-10, He hasn't destroyed earth yet because He doesn't want anybody to die in their sins, but everybody will repent and be saved before that dreadful day.

Seek the Lord while He is near!

2024 is History - 2025 is a chance to excel and handle unfinished business. Forget about your past mistakes and discouragement, and walk into what God has willed for you and your household. Seek Him! Isaiah 55:6 says, "Seek the Lord while He may be found,

Call upon Him while He is near."

I pray your new year has been blessed so far, and you will be overtaken with the goodness the Lord provides for the ones who love Him.
